Developing Core Competencies through Coding and Robotics

Surrey teacher Darcy Booth discusses the development of Core Competencies through coding and robotics.

“It’s an opportunity for them to put all of the core competencies to use. I feel like we’re constantly talking about communicating with each other, problem solving, critical thinking and they get to see that and what it really means and use that in a setting that’s really engaging. I find my teaching practices have moved away from those rigid timeslots, our day just flows. It’s definitely a collaborative thing.” – Darcy Booth

This is awesome. This should be introduced in other elementary schools in Surrey. My son is very much interested and its not offered in his school. At least not to him.
    Thank You
